Memorial Pendants

Cremation lampwork is a unique way of incorporating a small amount of  cremation ash into a handmade glass bead or sculpture.

 

To create a cremation pendant, a small amount of ash is carefully mixed into molten glass before being shaped into a final piece. The ash becomes permanently encased in glass creating a lovely and lasting tribute.

 

I do understand, attitudes toward the use of cremation ash to create memorial jewelry is subjective and depends on individual beliefs and preferences.

 

Personally, I embrace that some may find comfort in having a tangible reminder of their loved one in the form of memorial jewelry, and I feel really very privileged to be able to create a lasting and meaningful tribute for others to have.
